He Reconciled You

It was Father's good pleasure to reconcile you through Jesus.
(see 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)

All the fullness of God lived in Jesus. He made peace between you and God through His blood at the cross.
Even though you were alienated from Him and hostile toward Him in your mind, He reconciled you.

He did it so that you could be holy.
He did it so that you could be blameless.
He did it so that you could be above reproach.

That's what the new creation in 2 Corinthians 5 :17 is all about. You got a new self, created in Jesus Christ in righteousness and true holiness.

Don't think of yourself as you were.
Think of yourself as you are.
