Be the Branch

Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches.

Branches live in the vine. They must, or else they have no life at all.

We, who live (as branches) in Christ bring forth lots of fruit. That's just a property of branches. It's what they do.
We learn all this from John 15:5.

It’s underscored in Romans 11:16, where we discover another incredible truth about who we are in Christ.
It says that if the root (the Vine) is holy--and we know for sure He is--then the branches are holy too!

Do you see it?

Saint, beloved child of God, you are holy, and you bring forth lots of big juicy fruit.

It's not a question.

It's not something you have to make happen.
It's a property of who you are.
It's your identity.
It's the new normal!
