Strike the Rock, Speak to the Rock

After they had been freed, the Israelites got thirsty, God told Moses to strike the rock, and water came out.

After that, the Israelites wandered in the desert for years. They got thirsty again.

This time, God told Moses to speak to the rock.

When Moses struck the rock anyway, God banned him from entering the promised land.

The rock is Jesus.

Once the Rock was struck once, water was available.

Forever afterward, all that is needed to meet the need is to speak to the Rock.

Don't crucify Christ again by falling back to trying to perform for God's approval and supply. Just speak to him and find grace in your time of need.
