Faith

Faith

When you get out of bed in the morning, you have no doubt that the floor will hold your weight. When it's cold outside, you can be sure that your breath will be visible. When you put the nozzle of the gas pump into your gas tank, you see no liquid flow, yet you are certain enough that it has done so that you willingly pay the vendor.

Each of these everyday actions requires faith. Each requires that you have faith in a physical law, a principle, or a promise.

None of these things requires blind faith. Each is trusted because there is evidence enough to convince you of their reliability.

It's exactly the same with trusting God; with putting your faith in Jesus, with knowing that He will keep His promises.

That's the way of grace. You can walk in confidence. You can walk freely, secure in the knowledge that God is fully trustworthy.
