Christian Ministry

We have not been given the ministry of condemnation.

We are given the ministry of reconciliation. Pleading with people to be reconciled to God.

We are not told that the world will know we are Christians by hearing what we are against.

We are told that our love for one another is what will show people that we are Christians. That makes a lot of sense, since God is love.

We are not called to pretend that we have perfect lives and never fail.

We are called to remember that this great treasure we carry around is contained in weak and leaky containers. Because we are weak and fragile it is clear that everything good people may see in us is from God and not from us.
