Who Our Father Is

We talk a lot about how loving Father is.

We talk a lot about His incredible grace.

We talk a lot about being His children.

We talk a lot about our close personal relationship with Him

All that is great and it’s good and right that we should talk about it.

But our Father, the One into whose lap we can climb to find grace, is also the great God of all that is.

Psalm 99:1-5 (ESV)

The LORD reigns; let the peoples tremble!

      He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!

            The LORD is great in Zion;

      he is exalted over all the peoples.

            Let them praise your great and awesome name!

      Holy is he!

            The King in his might loves justice.

      You have established equity;

            you have executed justice

      and righteousness in Jacob.

            Exalt the LORD our God;

      worship at his footstool!

Holy is he!

This is Abba.

This is Papa.

This is who rescued us.

This is who loves us unconditionally.

We are right to be proud of our lineage.

We are right to be proud of our Father.

That is why we act like His children who have inherited His traits.
