Move Out!
It can seem like wickedness, evil, and deceit have no end. That this visible and tangible environment is the ultimate and only reality. It can appear as if societal structures and political positions are the most important issues of life.

A good friend recently asked, “Can we completely subvert the working of the Spirit in our lives totally?” I think this is an insightful question and one that many believers find themselves asking at one time or another.
I think all fleshliness grieves and quenches Holy spirit.
To speak of grieving Him is to speak of the effect fleshliness has on the Spirit of God in us. He wants better for us, and it breaks His heart, so to speak, when we live as though we were still in the flesh.
Paul says that sin lives in his members, in his body. The Greek here is (melos) which means members or parts of one’s physical body. For me, this is crucial because it helps me understand the Biblical use of (sarx-flesh) more readily.
Jesus is the thread of Scripture. Jesus is the fulfillment of Scripture. Jesus is foreshadowed in the Old Testament and manifested in the New.
When you fall back into navigating life like the world and its systems think you should, you’re walking according to the flesh. That never ends well. It results in life on a performance treadmill trying to get closer to God while in truth, you’re getting nowhere.
Let’s face it, the world is full of evil of every sort. Sin is everywhere and we are not immune to the effects of evil and sin around us. It pervades our day-to-day lives and pressures us constantly. The temptation it engenders can be strong and we sometimes, maybe even often, fail to escape it.
Some have called this “the upside-down Kingdom”, but it is more accurate to say that we live in an upside-down world. The Kingdom of God is right-side up.

Everything about it constantly pressures (tempts) us to believe that we will find satisfaction and fulfillment everywhere but in Christ….
Humble YourselfA study from 1 Peter 5 (ESV) 1 Peter 5:1–4 “So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight,…
Ditch It We are encouraged to rid ourselves of Anger,Rage,Malice,Slander,Filthy language, andLying. Why? Because we might lose our salvation?Because we might make God angry?Because we might fall out of fellowship with God? Nope! It’s not for any of those reasons. It’s because we have taken off our old selves, which practiced those things. It’s because we…
In our heart, we want to have godly attitudes and actions, but the flesh sometimes (maybe even often) results in our failure to do that. Ungodly attitudes and actions happen when the temptation of the worldly way of living by what seems best to our senses draws us away from the godly responses and behaviors we truly want.
