The Testimony of Jesus Christ

The Testimony of Jesus Christ
Someone recently asked me for a better explanation of what the testimony of Jesus Christ is.
The Revelation mentions this in chapter 1 verses 1-2 and 9.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw.” (Revelation 1:1-2 NASB20)
And
“I, John, your brother and fellow participant in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.” (Revelation 1:9 NASB20)
The testimony of Jesus Christ is everything Jesus said.
It’s all of God's word.
It's everything God has to say.
As it relates to The Revelation, it is everything that is “uncovered” in this book of visions.
God has chosen to reveal the truth about Himself and humanity in a number of ways.
The preeminent and primary revelation of the truth is Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
The Bible as a whole is another way truth is revealed.
The Book of Revelation is as well, because it contains in brief overview the entire message of truth.
The Lord Jesus is both the Message and the Messenger of God.
