Winds of Doctrine
Doctrine means “teaching.”
There’s a lot of noise out there.
There’s teaching that leaves us confused, even fearful.
There’s teaching that seems to call us to divide ourselves from those who understand things differently.
This doesn’t sit well with the Spirit within us.
He is not the author of confusion or disorder.
As Father would have it, the answer is simple.
As with all things, the answer is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything is summed up in Him. (Ephesians 1:10)
When in doubt, look to Christ. (John 3:14-15)
When you’re uncertain, look to Christ. (John 3:14-15)
Let’s not allow ourselves to be distracted.
Let’s not be tossed around by every wind of teaching (Ephesians 4:14).
Instead, let’s make it our aim to know nothing but Christ, and Him crucified. (1 Corinthians 2:2)
Our focus is Christ.
Let’s keep our attention on Him.
