Experiencing God’s Love
Experiencing God’s Love
Trust in God grows as we come to know Him more intimately and relationally by living with Him through the hills and valleys of life. As we find He has walked with us through the valley of the shadow of death, we come to trust that He is always with us.
Trust gives legs to faith.
The more we trust Father, the more we are convinced that all He says is true. The more we are convinced that all He says in true, the more we act accordingly.
He says that He is love.
1 John 4:16 “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. (NASB 2020)
He says His love has been poured all over our hearts.
Romans 5:5 “and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (NASB 2020)
He says that the Father loves us just as He loves Jesus.
John 17:23 “I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me.” (NASB 2020)
He says nothing can ever separate us from His love.
Romans 8:38–39 “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NASB 2020)
When we know Him well, we trust Him more.
When we trust Him more, we believe Him more.
In this way His love for us and all the other aspects of the fruit He produces is experienced more fully.
Experiencing God’s love is the product of faith.
