Spiritual Discipline

Don't waste your time taking inventory of how much Bible reading and study you're doing. Don’t focus your attention on how much and how fervently you pray. Don’t spend your energy worrying about religious dedication because you were told if you do more God will be more pleased with you.

God is as pleased with you as He is with Jesus. In John 17:23 Jesus prayed this, “I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me. (NASB 2020)

Think about it; you're IN Jesus. Father loves you just as He loves our Lord Jesus. You can't do anything to please Him more because it's not even a little bit about your performance and behavior.

It's about the behavior and performance of Jesus. It's about the blood of Jesus that settled every vestige of your account with God. It is Finished.

Just live and let Him worry about the fruit production. That's His department, not yours.
