Declaration of Dependence

We are complete in Christ.
We have been given everything we need for life and godliness.
Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and to live uprightly in this present age.
As Jesus is, so are we in this world.

Think about these Scriptural declarations.
Let them wash over you.
Steep yourself in them.

If we really understand the ramifications of these and other similar declarations in scripture, there is only one possible response: thankfulness in everything.

These truths about us are the power of the Gospel.

May we grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord so that we increasingly live in and act upon this. May we live by faith in dependence on God just like Jesus did when He walked the earth. We live not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of our God.

This is the Declaration of Dependence for the people of God.
