Accepted in the Beloved

Accepted in the Beloved

In Ephesians 1:6 the King James Bible says that God has “made us accepted in the beloved.” That is a wonderful thing to consider.

Righteousness is a gift from God to us. When scripture says we are accepted in the Beloved, it reflects the fact that because we have been made acceptable by being cleansed from sin and made righteous, we are in Christ Jesus.

When we put our faith in Jesus Christ we were given eternal life.

Eternal life is life that has no end.

There is only one kind of life that is eternal.

God's life.

Every believer has been given God's life.

That is what it means to have been placed in Christ.

He is the only source of eternal life.

When we were reborn, we were made one with Him in spirit. (See 1 Corinthians 6:17) Galatians 2:20 puts it this way: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."(NKJV)

God loves YOU.

He loved you even when you were dead in your sin. (See Romans 5:8)

That's why He sent Jesus to rescue you. (See John 3:16)

You are His dearly loved and righteous child.
