Live From This

Saint,

Spiritually, you were dead.

You used to live just like the rest of the world.
You lived in the way the god of this world wanted you to live.

It was all about your performance.
It was all about what your mind wanted. About your lusts. About you.

You were just like people who reject the love of Jesus.
Like people who reject the life God offers.

BUT GOD

God is rich in mercy.
God is love.
God loved you in your rebellion.

His mercy found a way to keep you from getting what you deserved.
His grace gave you the infinite blessing you did not deserve.

He made you alive right along with Jesus. Raising you up with Jesus.
He seated you with Jesus in the heavenly realm.

Seated--a place of rest.

You got exactly what God promised in Jesus.
An easy yoke.
A light burden.
Rest for your soul.

Remade, reborn, redeemed.
He did all that for you.

Live from that.
