God’s Armor God’s Strength

Rely on God's strength. Be strong in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10 tells us this because our power is useless against our enemy.

Why is our strength ineffective?
Because our enemy is not other people.
For this reason, we use God's armor.

The really cool thing is that His armor fits us because we are compatible with Him.

He gave us His righteousness.
His Spirit of Truth is within us.
The Gospel of peace makes us restful.
Faith in Jesus makes the whispered lies of the enemy ineffective.
His salvation is permanent and trustworthy, and we can rely upon His word as our eternal security.

Given all this, we are free to love.
We are free to be at peace with one another.

Our true enemy has been defeated and defanged by our Redeemer.
He’s all bark and no bite.
Truth is his kryptonite.
