Your Debt is Paid in Full

You may have heard it said that you should keep short accounts with God. I just want to reassure you that your account with God couldn't possibly be any shorter.

You have a paid-up account with God. You're His child, not His debtor. Jesus settled your account in full and forever and then He deposited all the riches of His inheritance into it.

You have His righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:21 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (NASB 2020)

You have every spiritual blessing in Him.

Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (NASB 2020)

You have everything you need for life and godliness.

2 Peter 1:3 “for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” (NASB 2020)

You are complete in Him. Colossians 2:10 “and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority” (NASB 2020)

In this world, you are as He is.

1 John 4:17 “By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, we also are in this world. (NASB 2020)
