You Have Been Raised with Christ

You have been raised with Christ.

The old you has died and your new and real life is hid with Christ in God.

This is why you should consider your hands and feet and head--your body--to be dead to ungodliness.

Think about it. You have laid aside the old self with its evil practices and desires. You heard that right; your true desires are no longer toward evil practices.

You've put on the new self. That new self is being renewed to a true knowledge. Godly knowledge given by the Holy Spirit himself.

That's just what you would expect of anyone created in the image of God.

Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience; these are what's in the heart of your new self.
