Prayer for Salvation

If you hear that prayer doesn't save you all that means that it isn't the act of praying that saves you. There is no magic incantation that causes spiritual rebirth.

Prayer is communicating with God. If the way someone expresses their faith to God is prayer, then they have faith in God and are saved. That's calling on the name of the Lord, but praying is not a necessary component. You might say to me, "my friend I believe this good news!" You haven't spoken with God, but He knows you have faith. In fact, He knows it before there is time for you to say anything at all.

No communication with God is required for salvation.

Communication with God is ALWAYS good.
