His resurrection from the dead is the defining characteristic of Christianity.

He laid down His life and He took it up again. No one raised Him from the dead. Being God, He raised Himself by the power of His own life-giving Spirit.

That He actually rose from the dead is well attested. He was seen by Peter, then by the twelve, and later by some 500 people. The empty tomb cannot be explained any other way.

The resurrection of Jesus proves His ability to give life. For this reason we can trust that He is able to give life to us.

The resurrection of Jesus proves that His life is indestructible, eternal, and abundant. Therefore, we can trust that the life He gives us is indestructible, eternal, and abundant.
